Has South Park gone too far?

Just out of curiosity, what do you find funny? I was just wondering.

Random humor,absurd humor,intelligent humor. South park is none of those. It's the most pathetic thing ever crappily thrown together. If you are looking for something funnier than south park, I'd recommend anything. ANYTHING! Hell, even barney is better than south park! The funniest animated show on television is family guy.


South park always goes too far. It has never been funny, isn't funny, and will never be made funny. Turn that retarded crap off and put on family guy! Unlike south park, it isn't heavily filled with extreme profanity. It is actually funny. It has humor for everyone and everyone can relate to it. The only thing I can relate to that cartman's ever said is "At long last, I've found what I was looking for. The nintendo wii." Everything else in it is dreadful. So remember, next time it comes on, panic and run around frantically looking for your remote or turn off the television until it is over. You won't be sorry.

Well I do agree with you on one thing, Family Guy is hilarious. Do you find the Jackass movies to be funny? To me it would seem if you don't like South Park due to its profane nature, you would hate Jackass, which I find hilarious. Just wondering.

Jackass is hilarious because people do funny things in it. South Park isn't funny because the only thing you could consider humor (which i don't find funny) is their constant cursing. The main difference between family guy and south park------------------------------------------

Family guy is created by an adult who has a good sense of humor and the voice actors don't suck.

South park is created by little 10 year old boys who think cursing songs is funny.

Well in my opinion there is more to South Park than just profanity. I've watched my share of South Park episodes, and even though there is alot of cursing, thats not what I find funny. Sometimes it does add to the comedy, in my opinion. Personally I find the events the kids get into the funniest part of the show. Just my two cents.

I don't see that the humour in South Park is all about crass jokes. It's mainly about pointing out the absurdity of things which are going on the real world. You need to be of a certain intelligence to apreciate their humour, but that's just my opinion.

I agree. The randomness that they put together of real life things is what gets me. Like when Cartman is trying to exterminate hippies, ala Ghostbusters (really old) and ends like Armegeddon. I could care less about the profanity. I have never seen Family Guy, but from what I have heard they do similar things. From what I can tell Keres actually does watch South Park yet continues to spew hatred towards it. :dunno:

South park was weak and gave in. Family guy may have done a parody of pbj, but it is still god of all animated shows. You don't realize how stupid you make yourself sound when you back up south park and call it more intelligent and original than family guy. Go ahead and make fun of family guy (if you wish to be struck down by its mightiness) but I also like The Simpsons, Futurama, and American Dad. All of which are better than South Park. Honestly, it's just a choice of opinion, don't get mad at others when they pick fun at Family Guy because you pick fun at South Park. They're just shows, and whether you like 'em or not just depends on what you prefer.
