And another thing who the fuck cares if you're Irish or not? Celebrate any holiday you please. If you can do it, respectfully, then have at it. That's my philosophy. I don't get pissed off at non-Italians when America celebrates Columbus Day because he was an Italian. I also don't get pissed when people string up lights for Christmas and exchange gifts that don't believe in the "reason for the season". Holidays were not meant to be exclusive, but inclusive. If you want to celebrate exclusiveness, go back to Nazi Germany.
