i think its bullshit. obama is trying to cover his ass for saying something he should'nt have and sticking up for his buddy who threw out the race card on an officer who was doing his job, if anything from looking at each of their pasts the officer is the only one who isnt a racist.
ah, I thought you were kidding as I haven't surfed the news today. Is this what you're referring to?
Will White House beer help nation chill on race? - CNN.com
but do you really think the officer is racist?
I do know there are a lot of racist cops. Whether it's cuz they have to deal w/assholes of a certain skin color all day or are just racist cuz this is the South, I have no idea....
oh im sure there are. the problem that i have with this whole issue is that obama said the police were acting stupidly, when he himself admitted he did not have all the facts. just that his friend was black and the officer was white
No, I don't. I think he did exactly what I would expect any officer in his position to do, regardless of his skin color or the skin color of the other person.but do you really think the officer is racist?

my point exactly. i have read the arresting officers report as well as the other officer's report. at no time was race ever mentioned by the officers
Not to mention the fact that a black officer was a part of the arrest and the woman who made the initial 911 call was not white either.
I also think Obama was a dumbass for opening his mouth the way he did. But I'm impressed that he admitted it, and is willing to sit down with everyone involved. I don't think he should've opened his mouth in the first place, but his handling of it afterwards is commendable.my point exactly. i have read the arresting officers report as well as the other officer's report. at no time was race ever mentioned by the officers
