Halloween is becoming more popular in the UK now, but is it just this country that has problems with it? I've just heard on the radio that a taxi driver in the town had his cab pelted with eggs and when he got out to remonstrate, the youths threw stones at him!
Another place reported that the police had to deal with an old lady who sobbing on the phone to them as some youngsters were throwing eggs at her house.
It may sound mean, but we never open the door in the evening at Halloween - not all bell ringers are little children just wanting to have fun (and a few sweets).
Seems a shame that we have to feel unsafe in our own home.![]()
