Seriously, WTF? Why not just dispense with sham tickets and send every address with a registered vehicle a bill for $25.

My town (Arlington, Tx) has cameras at many redlights...they MAIL you a fine if you get caught running a red light...In another town in North Texas (can't remember which one) they had to take the cameras down because they were so effective they quit generating revenue...

In Virginia if you have to go to court for a speeding ticket or any traffic violation ticket you will have to plead your case in front of clerk and no matter what the case you have to pay a court fee of $60. It is absolutely insane. I got a ticket dismissed not to long ago but still had to pay the $60. :thumbdown

Houston sent me a ticket for running a red light. I was turning right, which is of course perfectly legal. :mad
