Are reps point s based on the amount of reps points you have ?

The more rep points you have the more your reps are worth. There is a small portion equated to amount of posts but it's only marginal from what I can guess.

I give out nearly 1000 post per rep.. (I think)

You have to click on see more ...then look at the top 100 to see yours.

That is correct. Your rep is adjusted by receiving rep from others.

So If I rep you 10x you get 2000 points in round numbers, but you rep once and you give 1000 - interesting
