Dayyyum! Lookin good dood! You can run over my dog any day!
Isn't that code for you taking it up the butt? I can't wait to meet you next spring, boomzer, but I ain't gonna pound the brown round with ya. :yuk I know I'm sexy and all that, but sorry to disappoint, homeslice. :(
gp pounds a different ground, baby! :D

those are 18s? dayum they look small on that car. maybe its the fender gap that is messing with me
Hmmm. not sure. I do need to set it down another inch, though. I'll admit that. But they don't look small as such to me. But maybe I'm biased! :D :cool

Man, you wanna talk about a buzzkill.

J/K

I've had 275's up front on every stang I've owned and cannot remember having any problems. Tell me more...

Well of course it probably won't happen on all of the stangs but it is so notorious on the 03/04 Cobras that they have a TSB for it. Normally the other stangs have 245s or whatever so there isn't usually a problem with it. I doubt they are using a different steering rack in the mach so I was just giving you the heads up. Hopefully you'll be lucky and never have to deal with it. I have it and have had it for quite awhile but just deal with it. In only does it when turning while going slowly.

Have you thought about lowering it?

Oh definitely. As soon as I feel like I'm done with the go-fast goodies, I'm going to put adjustable coilovers on it. That will be just ducky. Is your cobra lowered?

Here's a footprint shot: :3gears

Nervous for the 600/600 club? :)
no nervous , cause i got to drive 200 miles there and 200 miles back home from dyno. im nervous because, if i break an input shaft or burn clutch up there i got to get it towed back home.

i got stock clutch right now, they said it would be ok for the dyno tune , but you know they will tell you anything to get your money.

if i was to change the clutch b4 ,, it would take about a year driving to put 800 miles on it, that would be to long without a proper tune.

Um, I certainly hope thats a joke with that belt wrappage :)

I upgraded my input shaft and clutch before upgrading to the Whipple. Luckily for me, my IRS has held up considering...
So I feel for you on the breakage worries... Good luck!

And speaking of new shoes, I just fitted the rears with some Goodyear GS3's :)

in that pic i was checking the clearance between them, as you can see the belt is looped over the top of the pulley if you look close,,i am running no snub idler with the 3.5 pulley and the snub with the double bearing 90mm with the 3.0 pulley the ones in that pic are 2 100mm ones yes that wrap is too much in that pic , i had 3 pics but that the only one that came out?
i got solid axle now with 3.73s with new posi ans 31 mosers axles. i got the borla exhast shown in this pic for sale. this pic is b4 i swapped it out.000_047003COBRABORLATAILPIPES-1.png

yes home lift is the shat. im trying to find a part for the motor right now. but haven no luck. looks like a 5 dollar part .

the rad hose pulley does add some rwhp.LOL.

i was holding it up at the top.to se how close it was , i posted a pic for someone he said thats ok. but it will prob rip the pulley snout off the blower. like that . without the snub with the 3.5 i might have some slippage. i was tring to run the same belt size with both pulleys, so i came up with the combo above works. or i can get 2 belts.i just hate going to the parts store 5 times to get the right size belt .

Yes that is a bitch. Are you running a lower combo at all? I have a 6lb lower with a 3.5 stocker whipple upper. Just curious. I finally found a belt that works, but is a bitch to get on when brand new.

b4 the k/b i had a 9.0 lower or 6lb, but i returned it ,it kept slinging belts. i got the stock lower on it now.my belt size is a 80 3/4 i think it works for both pulleys just with the larger one i got to remove the snub , then with the other one add snub and 90 mm idler i'll take more pics later whan i pull it out in the light . stock lower and 3.5 is supposed to be 18psi plus or minus 1 or 2 lbs. my tuner said if i dont see 18 psi with the 3.5 he will swap it out with a 3.25 pulley but than i will have to juggle idler pulleys around to get the belt sizing right , cause they dont stock belts there ,, isnt that a shame ?

Kinda funny actually. Goes to show you how many people still run the stocker size :)

I don't think you will see 18psi with that combo. More like 15 if I were a betting man. But still, the 2.6 moves a lot of air so you don't need that much boost to see tremendous gains. In fact, the lower you can stay on pump gas, the safer I always say. Don't let him crank up your timing just to squeeze out more hp either! :)

you got a 03 cobra?
i like the stock lower cause the bearing supports the front of the crankshaft

if you got a 03 cobra what sizes you running and it what boost are you seeing ?
