I was being sarcastic :D

They do look impressive, you have to teach tiki taka at an early age like they are, because it's something that takes years to develop. They learn it from an early age at La Masia (Barcelona's academy) and it's drilled into them that this is the Barcelona way.

They're good players for sure.

When I was a kid, I remember getting rebuked for not smacking the ball out of defence every time. We were 11, and playing on full sized pitches with a size 4 ball; how far did they think we might kick it? Myself in particular, I was quite small for my age. It would have been so much easier and of greater benefit to teach us the right way to play.

Interestingly; the worlds best players have always been small or late developers because it taught them how to play football instead of relying on physical attributes. Messi was a little sick kid when he arrived in Barcelona.

Indeed. Barcelona offered to pay his medical bills for his growth problems, it meant that Messi had to move to Barcelona but what a great gesture. Messi would never have made it otherwise, because no team in Argentina could afford his medical fees. He did have injury problems at Barcelona but that was due to the treatments he was getting, in fact I think they sacked the doctor who was responsible because of it. Since then he has very very rarely missed a match.

It's funny like you say how some of the world's best players are small (Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Scholes) but the talent can be spotted much earlier.
