thanks yall. she went from doing ok this past weekend, like she perked up while i was there, actually started talking again, and now is back in her non talking mode. her sister got there tonight so maybe she will perk back up. she has started talking to her parents according to my mom.

the kids and i will be heading up there friday so prayers needed as well as positive thoughts for travel.

she is not even talking to her sister im taking the kids up there and we are leaving tomorrow. my 15 year old does not want to go and i told him that he did not have to see her if he did not want to. he told me he doesnt want to remember her like that and i wont push him.

tomorrow i am traveling to my mom's to pretty much say goodbye to my grandma. some of yall may remember this exact time last year my paw paw died. (will be a year sunday) i am asking for prayer, postive thoughts and vibes for my family. my mother is especially taking this hard as she was the caregiver for both my paw paw and my grandma.

You have my sincere condolences.

May she find peace in the afterlife and smile down upon you as well.​

i had one of those grandmas that was sweet all the way to her bones
she had a rough life and yet she was just as nice as ever

I'm sorry for your loss. I grew up with my grandparents, and when my grandpa died, it was really heartbreaking for me. I was about to graduate in college and he missed that. Hope you and your family will be ok.Hold tight to memories for comfort.

small update....she went downhill this past week. the hospice nurse came in tonight and put her on crisis care and told my mom that grandma is actively dying. 3 deaths in the family in 3 days is HORRIBLE!!!!!

she passed away at 230 this morning. i feel so bad and sad for my mom, she lost both her parents in 16 months.
