Grand exits.

You will know I am gone when I quit posting. I never understood the making some great and dramatic exit. If you like a forum stay, contribute, enjoy others and build relationships. Not all forums are for everyone. If you get your feelings hurt that not every thread you start turns into a 5 page thread then the problem is not the forum. I carried the title "Thread Killer" on a previous message board because it seemed once I responded to any topic it died a sudden death. It even became a running joke as to which one of the three or four of us would kill the next hot topic.

I dig deep into the far dark crevices in amongst the cobwebs to a quote from a movie named "No Time For Sargents"...."Lighten up, Francis." (Disclaimer: I am not talking about "Francis" who post here.)

I suppose you can get that response any way you leave a forum. I think Retro will back me on that comment.

Not at the moment. Sometimes however I have the attention span of a moth and decide I need to apply myself to a task at hand and distractions are just that.

Yeah I hear you, can't let it get in the way of your real life. If that were the case I would make a thread to the effect of "I'm leaving for a while" which I've done a couple times in the past on here lol

In my opinion, those grand exits have the only intention to make the other users wave "Nooooooooo, doooon't leeeeaaaaave!!! We neeeeeeed YOU!!!"-flags. According to my experiences, the leaving users then suddenly decide to stay.

Ha! I love 'Stripes'. That's what movie that line's from. Of course, I suppose it could be in more than one movie, but the Francis in 'Stripes' says all of his friends call him Psycho, so if that's the one you're remembering... love it!
