I'd be surprised. More likely he'd be involved in a transformation of the GOP, it that is possible.
I dunno about that. When President Obama is done, who will pick up the dem banner? Joe Biden has self-destructed several times already in presidential bids, Secretary Clinton is not certain to run, and Julian Castro won't be ready yet. On the repub side, Cruz, Ryan, and Paul are just three very strong contenders just off the top of my head. A centrist nationalist who agrees with President Obama on many issues would be a lot more palatable to dems than to repubs.

Not sure what your point is. Saint or politician, I still think he's looking to jump sides.
