You bought this card? I have one at work but we dont use it as a server anymore. Not big enough. We loaded Linux on it so we could use it for a robotics backup library.

it is a pci card (a piece of computer hardware that extends (expands) what the motherboard can do)

but on this pci card, there is a cpu or processor which makes it real interesting to me, which i dont know what it does, hence the interest.

it also has some memory slots, a not used ide port (hard drives, cd/dvd drives), and some basic connectors on the back...

its called the sun microsystems PCi card, which, im guessing is a pc in a pci card, and its their "penguin" model, whatever that means...
