Ok I read the OP and I think that nobody should step on anyones toes to get to where they want to be in life as far as success goes. That's pure and utter bullshit. Work hard to get to where you want to be and to who you want to be. It sounds like this Gekko character was a self righteous idiot who didn't care about anyone or anything as long as he got to his success. That there in itself is wrong in my eyes....
Greed is most definitely not a virtue, nor is it a motivator for anyone other than greedy people.
Was the writer of the article never told "don't be greedy!" by their parents?
