People used to take the Concorde ( remember that plane ) to go have a Cafe in Paris.. Ok they were rich but and it was a fantasy but they still talked about it..

Anyway, I know coffee in Paris is not quite the same as here, more like Italian style, hence Expresso but I would imagine some places serve it Americano style..
