I've been here for a little over a year, though I just consider my time here as more of a lengthy vacation than living here, I live in Oregon and will be headed back next month. I personally don't care much for New York, but I hope you make it here some day.

I came here in a bit of an emergency, had no place to stay back in Oregon and was offered a place to stay with some family here, so I guess technically I've been living here but I've always thought of it as temporary until I can get back home, I'll be happy to get out of here honestly, I don't like the way they do things in NY.

Well, for one in NY they try to squeeze every penny out of you they possibly can, you have to pay to have your vehicle inspected yearly, you have to buy a permit to have a yard sale, you have to buy a designated CITY trash bag or the trash collectors won't take your garbage away, there are toll roads EVERYWHERE, and they have a sales tax. Also a lot of buildings like banks, DMV's and stuff will make you walk through a metal detector to get in, and my steel toe boots are always setting them off, it's such a hassle. Oregon does none of those things, and also just has better scenery and IMO nicer people, I won't be missing NY. I'm headed back to Oregon September 6th.

Whats the sims like on facebook? I saw it advertised at work today, didn't know what to make of it?
It's a lite version of the purchase game.. it's kinda fun.. and addictive.. just like the real version. :surrender
