Well when you get non weirdos that don't pose as women on forums, like yourself. And they are the real person. You get to know what they like, and dislike. Private PM chats etc.
I used Myspace for 7 years and I got to know quite a few good friends on there. They are now also on my friends on FB. So yeah, I know you can Mr Igotabadanswerforeverything

God forbid you actually learn something from someone else's perspective.
When it comes to making "friends" online, I'd much rather respect the person than to think in my little mind that they are indeed my friend just because they want to shoot the **** with me or give me a "pick me up" online if I bitch and moan about my life.
One friend who will actually come to your aid and physically be there for you is worth more than 1,000,000 internet "friends" in my book.
I'd be willing to bet you'd be amazed at how many friends you really have if they had to leave the keyboard.
That said, if you haven't figured it out yet, when it comes to the human race, I don't have a very high opinion of em. Luckily a few people have shown me I'm not 100% right.

You have just described real friends too. IMHO, it's hard to find a true friend. After 20 years of having a best friend and then find out, she would rather shit on you, then stick up for you, proves the fact real friends are very few. So tbh, I think I would rather have online friends.
If you haven't figured by now, that we all on this forum come to forums to chat and be friendly, hence speak to friends....then you have just told everyone on this forum that they are more or less stupid in coming to forums to think they can find friends!!! I think they would agree, that this does happen, and has!

Hey banned... forums ebb and flow... and I can't say as I blame ya about the forum not being real enjoyable right now. It's in a bit of slump, save a handful of regulars. Things that make you go "hmmmmm?"
