My friend Matt and I have been looking around, tonight he IMs me this place.

Good side of town, plenty of shopping and food... and best of all it's CHEAP for TWO full bedrooms and TWO full bathrooms. Water and trash are included in rent, and my electric bill on my old apartment was like between 35-50 a month so that's no big deal to me.

I'm gonna go out Saturday to have a look at them, because I cannot wait to move outta my brothers house.

2... and a half years? lol Feb of 04 when I moved out into my first apartment.

It's actually quite comfortable.

I just moved in to a 2-story 4700 square foot house with my family. It has 3 bedrooms (1 with attic, 2 with balconies) and 2.5 bathrooms. 1 bathroom has a whirlpool spa. We also have an outside spa in the backyard. This place is freaking awesome. I finally have my own room! Good luck with yours, it sounds great.

Oh god. You should see the prices in Austin. While some of the semi-nice areas are under $700 a month for one bedroom, the ones downtown are outrageously high. I'm gonna get one sometime this summer, though, once all his family problems have been handled appropriately. (Anyone wanting to move to the area, I'll definitely want a roomie!) Ya see, we lived with his grandparents because his grandmother was dying and needed a nurse there, and we stayed after her death in December to make sure his grandfather wouldn't do anything stupid, as he originally said he would. Now we're at his mother's house so that we can keep an eye on her, because after her mom died, she became more depressed...and we're on suicide watch with her. *smiles* He's sooo good with his family...it's one of the reasons I fell for him.

i got a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath for 600 a month in a decent area of salem...within walking distance to a couple bars....umm....some strip clubs....yeah perfect area of town i guess

i just had to help my friend, her fiancee and her brother move in there apt the other week in my ranger. it was hell. so much shit and so much driving. i told them next time you guys move to call a damn moving company or at least get a uhaul.

Looks like a retirement center :rofl No really, seems like a nice place for the price. Just make sure its not in the crappy part of town for that price. My brother lives in Columbus. The first place he lived wasn't a very nice neighborhood. His truck and apartment both got broken into. So he moved to a nicer neighborhood, and his apt got broken into twice, and his truck got his window shot out. Maybe he's just unlucky? But make sure you check out the crime rate around there.

Congrats, and damn, thats cheap. I pay $870 for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, but it is on a golf course, and it was one of the cheaper in my area. The good thing is that it was built within the last 15 years and it has an electric furnace.

PS: I pay $1500 for a 4 bedroom 1233 sq*ft apt.
