What I was trying to point out earlier was that Hitler had turned away from religion long before he took control of the Nazi party.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the lesson. Even so, that didn't stop Hitler from using religion to motivate people to kill Jews. He knew how to push people's buttons and he played Christian anti-Semitism to its fullest. He told people they were doing God's work. I wish people would just let God do his own work.

Dying at 40 is better than dying in 30's as Alexander the Great or Shelley or Keats did. But life span has increased in Pakistan over the years and..........birth rate too!!

How about the protests by the youngeer generation against too old pensioners who are usurping their rights and are a burden on UK's exchequer?? Why should one unnecessarily live just for the sake of living when he has already done his wages and is expected to leave??

I don't think it's dangerous to think religions are different paths to the same wisdom. But different religions often make contradictory claims. For example, if fundamentalist Christians are right then Muslims will burn in hell for all eternity when they die. But Muslims claim they will go to heaven and be given 10 virgins or something like that when they die. Now there's a big difference between those two outcomes and they both can't be right. Personally I don't think either one of them are right.

Religions do have some significant differences. for example Christians believe Jesus died because of them whereas Muslims say everyone is accountable for his own actions to God!!

Only those who do good deeds and die in the way of God....(it means a lot of things, mind it) are said to go to heaven....
including Muslims and others....except perhaps those who knowingly deny the Truth!
