I just spent like an hour filling out an online Wal Mart application and it says I failed their assessment test and to try again in 60 days...

I know this isn't a funny thread but I do have a story.

Going back about four years here I went for an interview at this office place and they told me that I had to have a typing speed test. I said ok and they set it up. I forgot how much it was and the time I had but I failed the first time, and they let me have another go, which I failed again and I wasn't allowed to have another go. I explained that I wasn't told about this typing test and I did travel a while to get there, so they let me have another go which I somehow passed. Anyway I got the job for some reason but fucking hated it and quit after a week.

I think the moral of the story is you might not like the job you've applied for.

I've never had a job that I liked, but I've also never quit a job in my life, I'm not there to enjoy myself or make friends, I'm there to make money.

Did they tell you why you failed?

Nope.

Is that the thing where you pick 'You strongly agree, agree, disagree- strongly disagree??

Yes, that fucking stupid thing.

I remember having one of those test's when I was trying to work abroad It was about 20 questions repeated time and time again (a little changed but the point was the same). And this 20 questions we're repeated time and time again to a sum of about 300 questions. I was doing it at the company's office. Thought I'll kill myself in the middle of it ; )
Fortunatly I barely passed but changed my mind against the matter, decided that I want to study and found the job I work in now.
