Why would Trojan use internet slang on their product?

I should have added in my post : it's more used as an internet slang because in the medical world where i work at daily for the past years are still using STD. Doctors still use STD, clinics, pharmacists, hospitals etc still use STD. Patient notes from all medical professionals still use STD. Some companies maybe like your Trojan condoms since they are much more widely used by ordinary non- medical people use STI just to go with the more layman term. Still boils down to the main point- STI and STD are one and the same. You can also add VD on that list.

I believe the presumption is that God does not hold animals to the same standard as human beings (his children) when it comes to sex outside of marriage.

That is a common belief which my dad agrees with. My dad claims that is why God didn't make animals susceptible to STIs. What he doesn't realize is animals are susceptible to STIs. I suppose I should tell him but it would ruin his argument.

No, not me. Do you really believe God punishes?

Well, actually I don't believe in God. But if there is a God then I think it's pretty clear he doesn't punish the evil and reward the good. That is just wishful thinking on the part of believers. It would be nice if there were divine justice but I don't see it.

Anyway, even if God did punish evil, he still shouldn't punish for consensual sex between adults because sex isn't evil.

Monogamy isn't natural

That's an interesting point. Biologists have discovered even animals that pair bond are not reproductively monogamous. The females sneak off and mate with rival males.
