Yes, I would live only in a country I was loyal to. I might visit other countries, but If I am not loyal to a country, I would never choose to live there. It's a contradiction, and contradictions aren't supposed to exist, A=A, And a whole bunch of other conservative-objectivist crap that goes way to deep into simple stuff like this.

So all those troops that are living in iraq and getting killed because they signed up to protect us, are loyal only to Iraq and not America?

Yeah, your logic needs more thought..

I dislike many American policies and laws, and find many American cultural phenomenas to be silly, but overall I like living here. I don't hate AMERICA, I just strongly dislike what our government is doing. But then again, I think most people can agree with me on that point.

America has beautiful landscapes, exciting places and people and whatnot. I like those things.

Carthage's logic is flawed. I dislike America (not Americans), and that doesn't mean I should leave. Carthage isn't grown up enough to know about other choices that come along later in life.

*Newsflash*

I'd move from this country in a heartbeat, if it weren't for my kids!

Not everyone has a choice to live where they would like to!

I would like to live in some Scandinavian country, probably. Most likely Denmark.

You'd love it there. Beautiful friendly people, who are more interested in chillin' out and having fun than owning a better car than their next door neighbour. And even though you don't like royal families, you'd like the Danish one.

Yeah, I'm not into Monarchies, but they are more progressive and liberal there. Sweden would be my second choice.

Addendum: I'd be loyal to it.

I don't mind Sweden but they have stupid laws there.. They have very serious regulation on the sale of alcohol. Like you can only buy a certain amount on a certain day, at a certain place.

I lived in Denmark for 3 years. Live in the city of Copenhagen. You're right that the royal family is very liberal. They have a long history of great service to their people. I remember some Danish freinds telling me about the King during World War II. While the Germans were occupying Denmark, the King used to ride his horse (alone), through the streets of Copenhagen which were full of German tanks and soldiers, to talk and check on the danish people to see how they were doing.

If China were democratic, I'd move there as soon as I had the financial wares. It has such nice landscapes, and a beutiful cultural history. But I could never be loyal to a non-democratic country, so I won't end up living there for a while.
