I loved the beginning of the series, but I thought the writing in the second half of it wasn't quite as good...the Rachel finding her mother dealie was a bit of a let down...they totally rushed through it after developing that whole relationship she had with Jesse. The Lady Ga Ga episode was lame with the exception of Kurt's Dad who I think is fabulous. However, I did like the finale a lot!

...and that wins the award for the lamest thing I've ever said...today.

PS: there is a guy in my motorcycle class who is Puck's doppleganger. His gorgeousness (yep, made that word up just for this post) is only doubled by the fact that he is super nice. He was my riding "buddy" for a few rounds and while I was holding up against the 85 degree heat, he laughed at something silly that I said and I nearly melted into a puddle...which is very much NOT like me...but he has dimples, people...DIMPLES!!

I think I giggled like the Mad Hatter when he took his shirt off at the end of the day to reveal washboard abs you could scrub your knickers on. Which immediately prompted an intense feeling of guilt because his girlfriend, who is equally as gorgeous and a total sweetheart is also taking the class.... :p

Ah well...therein ends the tangent.

My wife really likes the show. I will watch it but they need a strong male singing voice on the show.

I agree. I am not a huge fan of Finn's voice. Watching him sing is like watching John Mayer sing. :yuk They look like they are in pain. I much prefer Puck's or even Jesse's voice to his.

Did you all hear that John Stamos is supposed to join the show next season! I freaking LOVE John Stamos. So excited. So excited. So excited. So excited. So excited.

The guy in the wheelchair may have the best voice of all the guys. Jessie trying to sing Freddy Mercury tunes made me tell my wife "Jessie could not carry Freddie's jockstrap".

Oh I forgot about him! You are right. He is pretty darn good.

Does it bother anyone else that the guy in a wheelchair is not actually in a wheelchair in real life? That turned my world upside down.

Oh and the blonde cheerleader has to be my favorite of all the characters. Every single line she has (which she doesn't have many) is hilarious!

I wouldn't say I thought it was lame...but I was very disappointed that we didn't hear more Lady GaGa music in that episode. The basement scene at Kurt's house w/ his dad was FANTASTIC...I cried (don't take that for much, though, b/c I cry at the drop of a hat when it comes to TV...even at Hallmark commercials).

My wife really likes the show. I will watch it but they need a strong male singing voice on the show.

I like Puck's singing voice. Finn I'm not big on...Jesse either, but I'd rather him hear than Finn.

I had not heard that one...I think he'll do well on the show. I really really enjoyed when Neil Patrick Harris was on the show...LOVE HIM!!! I also really liked NPH as a guest judge on Idol...wish they would bring him back.

Re: Glee!

I lasted 10 minutes on one I watched. I hated it.

I can see why it may appeal to people though, kinda what I call the Gaga effect, not particularly very good, but enough of a show to appeal to a certain audience.

I DVR it and hubby and I watch it when he gets home.

I'm not sure he pays as much attention to it as I do, but it is one of "our" shows.

That's nice :) I tried to get the boyfriend to at least try an episode with me but he just refuses.

I knew I was going to like it during the first episode when Rachel is talking about not knowing which of her gay dads is her father, and they're different races :p
