Almost every episode I've seen, they've shown evidence of their findings. They also try to debunk some cases to see if what is going on at the locations they visit is in fact paranormal or can be explained other ways. Whether the show is a hoax or not, that's a matter of opinion. Personally, I enjoy it & it's made a believer out of me. To each their own though

I have watched Ghost Hunters for years and I always wondered how Roto Rooter workers became Ghost Hunters...I do have to give it to them for the way they do things. They really put more effort into debunking than the other paranormal shows do.

I have to agree with you on that one but that's entertainment...
yep.....ghosthunters is good entertainment,but just like the WWE is also.....both are just entertainment and nothing else
There's no point in arguing... believers will believe and nonbelievers won't. I'm open to the possibilities. Spimply based on sciences I've heard...
We as humans cannot perceive certain things with the naked eye
We as humans cannot hear everything with our ears. It has been proven in nature that animals like hippos and elephants make noises that range under human perception.
Our body being made up of electrons, would make one think that these go somewhere after we die. So to say that consciousness doesn't stick around after we pass isn't a stretch.

There is photographic equipment available that can photograph anything. The problem I have with the paranormal photographers stuff is it's always taken with a cheap video camera and ends up being of such poor quality that nobody can recognize anything.
But there are machines that can " hear " those frequencies so it's easy enough to prove they exist.
Whats/who is to say these mini dvrs and audio devices don't pick up on these same sounds? these guys supposedly had been running thei NFP ghost hunting biz for 10 before hand you can't telll me someone would call their bluff?

Or flash lights on one side of the room, the GH team on the other & it turning on & off by itself.
