Gettin ready for Easter tomorrow

The boys and I dyed some easter eggs and then made some wild berry muffins and banana nut muffins. And of course to stick with the holiday I even used Easter muffin cups.

I had to go to three different stores to get the damn vinegar oil for them! HAHA I got to the last store and there weren't any in the area where they should have been so we went to look in the easter decorations isle. Someone sat one on the shelf in that area and left it. WOOT I totally took it and the guy at the register was like wow you found the last one huh? HAHA

YAY me!

Well... until I read your last post I was going to go get a kit.... I still might. My grandmother and I were joking about taking some of her already boiled eggs and using magic marker to decorate them. I think she'd like some decorated ones.

You can dye them in water, but the vinegar gives them a brighter look.

Thanks. I wish I had more of me as a younger child doing stuff like that too. That's why I take so many of my kids.

Well this Easter is going to be a little different because the boys already picked out their Easter baskets. So I'm just going to fill em...errr I mean the Easter Bunny is going to fill them and they will be out on the table in the morning. We will be doing an Easter Egg hunt before lunch tomorrow and then I'm going to be making ham and potatoes for lunch.
THEN we have to go to a birthday party for my nephew. He turned one on Friday.

I will definitely be ready for bed early tomorrow! lol

Do yourself a favor and put them on a disc and get the ones you like printed at a photo place.

The ones you print yourself will fade in time. :nod:

Enjoy your kids while you have them. We are long past this age with ours. Even the grumpy Froggy enjoyed this kind of stuff
