Have you ever gotten in trouble for reading? If so, how or why?

Yes, I have gotten into trouble for reading. I received a serious scolding from my parents while reading a novel when the exams were near.

I haven't gotten into trouble for reading and I haven’t seen anyone get into trouble for reading. I get pleasure and information by reading, but it is necessary to do it in moderation.

I've gotten in trouble for reading after I was sent to bed. I don't remember how I got caught but I remember my dad telling me that I would ruin my eye sight from trying to read in the dark like that.
