I never said there weren't highly educated professoional muslims in Britain, I just said I doubt that like you say that they are a majority.

I'll gladly rescind this if you can show me otherwise with factual evidence.

Wonder why don't you let me know the number of highly educated professionals when you claim to know the lesser ones??? Certainly uneducated people cannot be deemed to have reached your parliaments.

Mazhur, I'm not trying to wind you up or anything, if you don't want to or can't find any evidence to support your hypothesis, then we'll just leave it at that. But I believe I asked you first, and I don't intend on doing your work for you.

And I find it highly amusing that a foreigner can give me anecdotal evidence about my country.

Zorak, I am not asking you to do my work, UK is your country and you ought to know the figures and tell me where I am incorrect.

Also, I have no intention to give you anecdotal evidence about your country .... let you provide me with some:)

I write from my personal experience and observations rather than wholly rely on lotsa internet crap..which is often misleading. I have been visiting UK as far back as late 60's and still have friends there all of whom are educated and doing fine. During my visits to London I did see Indians and Pakistanis driving cabs and double deckers and I could easily check what problem was with them since they spoke my lingo...

I even went to Southall only to find NO Causasian White in that big area 'captured' by the Sikhs some of whom had been residing in the UK for decades but couldn't speak or spoke little English...As I am fluent in their language I could find out that theirs was a social factor behind their concentration there. Like many countries UK also seems to be interested in 2 things 1) accepting rich expatriates 2) giving refuge to all the bastards who rush there for shelter.

eI may be wrong in my views but that's how I witnessed things there...

Needless to say I hate to go to any place where Asians abound and for this reason I hated to visit London again and instead went to New Castle to my Scot friends!! UKians are great people and I had some excellent local friends there who did a lotsa business with me!!

No whites is Southall? I have found plenty of whites, probably wasn't looking properly. If there are no whites in Southall, I swear a MacDonalds wouldn't bother about pitching up a 'tent' there

If you don't want to proof your vision of a majority skilled workforce of Asian muslims, that is fine, we'll leave it at that. I understand it may not be easy, and evidence is always suspect unless referenced.

I don't fancy swapping anecdotal evidence however, because it is a well beaten path to nowhere, especially since my personal experience has suggested to me the complete opposite to what you have said. We'll just leave it at that I think.

Huh! Where in the world you can't find a Mcdonald tent?? I have one right in front of my house!!

Pizza hut, KFC, Papa John and some other too have pitched their tents here...and that's no proof that only the Whites like their stuff!!

Well, you may differ that's your right. but as you insist on some kinda proof I will try to google it out the same way as you would have to do....just a matter of time, am a bit occupied at the moment

That's not quite what we were debating though, I have no doubt that there are a number of highly paid muslim professionals. But it's your supposition that they number a UK majority, both in relation to other muslims and other minorities.

It might be worth waiting for the next census (only a few months away) as that is the best data source accessable to all. In my little research, I learnt I am entitled access to the Economic and Social Data (ESDS) archives as a member of the University of London. Which is worth enquiring into.
