I don't know if I agree with George Clooney's politics, but I've got to respect the man's determination.

Still, staging something like that to bring attention to your cause is okay. Staging it to bring attention to your new blockbuster movie about an unassuming hero who rescues a beautiful Sudanese woman from terrorists ... not so much.

I'm gonna give you both credit for changing my opinion on the arrest. I assumed it was celebrity look-at-me attention whoring but I agree with the above statement.

George Clooney has been speaking out and doing humanitarian things for decades, but not by seeking publicity for them, but this cause is getting nowhere, people are being slaughtered and nothing is happening and conditions are only going to worsen. So more IN YOUR FACE tactics needed to be taken.

Mind you I am a huge Clooney addict the only thing I ever heard about the man I didn't like is that he likes to play practical jokes
