Genetically Altered Corn Questioned

If you ask me there's too many unanswered questions about the whole GM thing! The scientists sit in their labs and tell us that everything's going to be fine, without really knowing that it will be! They're basically gambling our future well-being on a hunch!

If you know how the body breaks down the molecules ... ? What says you?

This is really not my arena, however, there are people of science who have issues with the genetic alterations of food's we eat for an abundance of reasons.

Case in point, there are steroids that are fed to chicken hatchlings, that basically bring them from chicks to full grown ni about 60-70 days, not to mention boosts thier batting average about 5% (rim shot).

HOWEVER, it does not mature the immune system at the same rate, thus exposing the chicken to more hazards than normal. You can easily see how this could be a huge problem.

It is the same with a genetic mutation, there can be consequences for irresponsible science, however, nobody is really clear on the issue with corn, but there are concerns.

Ok, I wasn't talking about those types of genetically altered foods (giving steroids to chicken, etc.)

I was thinking more along the lines of naturally modifying food for example cross breeding a strawberry with a blueberry.

Yes - the type of chemical modification you are talking up is totally jacked up - that is my line of study.

I see no real issues with the Blawberry:D

Mixing is not really an issue so far as I can tell, "doctoring" the DNA is, at least to me it is.

Hell I cross pollenate my tomatoes and jalapenos to get spicy tomatoes al the time...And I turned out all right:ninja:D
