Ok so I'm all excited last night cuz I got my new lens and had today all planned. I drove down to one of my fav places being White Rock fully intending to spend a day on the shore of the Pacific shooting shells, crabs and what not. Well wouldn't you know there's a stupid festival going on and not a parking space to be had.

I got a little pissed and decided to go back home and shoot some bugs. How hard could that be? Ha! We don't have many bugs here is what I found out. After spending a few hours I managed to find a spider worth shooting... It's not as clear as I would have liked but what the hell, it's the first shot.

I asked him to turn around and he wasn't interested. There's a wall about 6" behind him so I couldn't get him from that side. Maybe next time.
