the girl held hostage, went to my school before moving to atlanta and getting married. ashley smith graduated from lakeside high school a few years ago. a teacher here knew the lady caring for her daughter during the entire ordeal. its a small world afterall.

by the way, her maiden name was ashley copeland (sp). my teacher showed us her yearbook pic and it looks the same as on the news.

im glad we still have people who care enough about others to do that- go into law enforcement. my grandpa's friend retired out of the police force and became a firefighter. he is a good man.

i have 2 daughters, one is 2 years old and the other is 8 weeks old, i want to try to make things safer for them while growing up, i am only 24 so if i get into it now i will be able to make things safer for many years. to show how much i want to do it, i am leaving a very good paying job to make less money to do what i want to do with my life.
