Hopping around news sites to see. I came across this: Hours later at about 9:30 p.m., BGE reported almost 96,300 outages.
YIKES! My lights have been flickering... I'm terrified of the dark, so I am really really REALLY hoping the lights stay on. EEK!
"There are 140 trucks deployed to plow and salt city roads. Over 2,300 tons of salt have been used."
"State police report well over 10 accidents in the 7 p.m. hour alone"
"11 Insta-Weather PLUS Chief Meteorologist Tom Tasselmyer said about 5 to 10 more inches of snow are possible in the Baltimore Metro area from nightfall until midnight or 1 a.m. Tasselmyer said the snow is expected to be very heavy, and it could come as quickly as an inch or two an hour."
There's a good video of the snow about 2/3 down the page:

We probably have 6 inches? It's level with the first step leading up to the building. The rest of the big tree cracked. I haven't gone to peek and see where it hit. The big one isn't near my car, thankfully. But I don't think I'd hear those.
