But yeah, go outside. It's only a couple minutes. Besides, you never know what else you're getting it on doing it inside.
if you are spraying in a closed room at least cover your mouth and nose with a mask or respirator.
even spraying outside, it's best to cover your face so you don't huff any by accident.

i have very wide feet, walk a lot and have an awful time finding comfortable shoes that are affordable AND durable. i finally actually found an extra wide shoe at k-mart last summer and they're already threating to come unglued.
that wouldn't be appropriate anyway...nobody wants to know the size of your wee willy winky...
