So my doctor's office just called and told me i could get the vascular tests that the pulmonary doctor scheduled for April done today! I'm just waiting on a call back.

Well, one test down. Hopefully this will be the only test that matters to get off the Warfaren. It was a Vascular test, checking the veins in my legs to see if the blood was flowing alright and no other clots were forming. I'm supposed to have an echo Cardiogram done as well but I tried getting more info but the nurse at my drs office was flighty as a bat.
If you don't mind me asking, do you have an illness, or are you being tested to find out what you might have?
I had a blood clot back in august. they're pretty certain it was caused by my sleep apnea which is a result of my Hydrocephalus. Being that was almost 90 pound heavier when I had the clot, my health coupled with my medical history was to play in the cause. I was put on Warferin for 6 months to thin out my blood and make sure the clot didn't come back. This month is supposed to be the last month I'm on it. I have a follow up with my regular doctors office the 24th. Hopefully I'll be able to start to "ween" myself off it.
