Ok,,Its time for a serious subject for a moment..I know coming from me its shocking!...


My question is, what would you do and how far would you go to protect a friend? I mean lets say you have a friend, she got threatened my her BF's Brother while he was drunk and sober...and you live next door to them...Would you get involved or stay out of it because it is sort of a family thing?..And lets say this brother is known for violence and the Bf is not there...

I am sort of torn...I would want to protect my friend, but it is sort of a family matter...does the fact he is prone to voilence change the rules?..

Opinions anyone?

you confused me. Is this a bf or a brother that is being violent?

Either way, I think you should probably step in. Or get someone else involoved.

if the friend is close enough their is nothing I wouldn't do for them...I'd have to consider them family

2 things you have to consider

1. If something happened to this friend and you didn't step in beforehand, will you be able to live with yourself?
2. Is his violence at a level that you will have to fear for your life if you step in? (Meaning, should you get involved or would it be better if you told someone in a better position)

V, it is the brother of the BF....the female friend is the same one me and you talked about last week.....and I would think I should step in being that I would not be a real friend otherwise and Yes he is one that if I did step in I would have to fear for my life as well, that is if I was a normal person...I am far from normal..lets just sya I have some special training beyond that of Martial arts...V will probably know what I am talking about...It is not like I fear him ya know...I am fearful for my friend and her Bf getting hurt...

Like she said, you don't want to put your life in danger and you don't want anything to happen to her (ie. just sitting by and doing nothing)

We live in the county so it will take Appx 5-9 minutes for a sheriff to get there and I will not sit by that long and let things happen...

Ok...I will elaborate a bit...my friend and her BF went to pick the BF's brother up because he was drunk..they went ot the Moms house, the Brother became violent, and hit the BF and the BF and his brother's mom and threatened to kill them all...The BF is a big guy and it took all he could do not to knock his own brother out...the Brother left drunk and got in his Stang and drove all over the road, Totaled his car got arrested for 10 different charges, stemming from no DL to no insurance, to DUI, reckless indangerment, and a whole lot more...well he posted bail and early this morning called them and SOBER told them he was going to beat the hell out of them all and kill someone close to them...Other than there family I am the closest thing to them ya know...they are like my family and me there's...The Bf is not the problem he works to much...the Brother is the problem...

i think threatening someone by saying you are going to kill them is good enough reason to have him arrested, itsn't it? being that he is fresh out of jail and probably on probation

Those are considered terroristic threats and the police take them very seriously. This sounds like more than just protecting a friend. This sounds like the police should get involved and straighten his ass out.

Oh trust me...I just got off the phone with a few friends of mine in the sherriffs off ice...I got something for his ass....I will not tolerate my friends being disrespected and threatened...

i would take action soon. if he is crazy enough to go after his own mother, then what would stop him from going after your friend.. i'm sure they wouldn't hesitate to arrest his ass again.

Like I said, I got a lil suprise coming his way....he so much as drives within the same area as my and my friends house (we are neighbors).calls her again..or his Mom in a terroristic way again...he will not see daylight for a while!
