I'm real sorry to hear that man. What branch was he in? Quantico is about 45 mins from Arlington, so if you need a place to stay I'm sure I can get you hooked up somewhere.

Sorry to hear Bacon man. It's hardest on the one's left behind of course. If I could choose any way to go, it would be in the service of something good though. So at least he (and you all) have that.

I'm sorry to hear that, Christopher. It literally brings tears to my eyes to hear that knowing that my 3 best friends are getting deployed in 2 months. It's the one thing that constantly stays on my mind now. It nearly kills me to think about them going to Afghanistan even though I know it's not as bad as Iraq. I read about an old friend of mine getting killed in Iraq a few months ago, and it pissed me off that no one back home decided to tell me. I hope everything goes well for you, Chris.
