Friday the 13th

Some of my best days have been Friday the 13th.

Given that I was born in January 13 most old folks had been reinforcing superstitions about Friday the 13th. The fact they said that when one counts Jan to Dec makes it 12 months plus 1( January the next year) equals 13 13 = double unlucky! So when there's a Friday the 13 th on any given year/month- I had always been told to be cautious. But nah! I don't believe it's unlucky at all

I have a sixth sense though and was nicknamed 'radar' for being able to tell what another person is thinking even b4 they blurt it out. Weird !! :ninja :24:

I am reminded of the trip I took to a casino on this day (No, not May 13th, but a Friday the 13th) it was like a ghost town. Hardly anyone gambling and plenty of space to move around. Went to dinner (no line, no waiting) and talked to the waitress and she told us about how superstitious gamblers are (they will not come on July 11th either!) (something about craps and the numbers: 7/11) well...we lost our shirts and every turn of the card was one off and did not win one hand. Made our minds up that this would be one day to avoid the casino....

We just had a colt born a couple of hours ago! Gotta think of a cool Friday the 13th name for him.

OH! And I just realized that he's our 13th foal born this year too! That is just too cool.
