Booze, your ok. I am just venting about how MF was really going down hill fast. I still go back from time to time, but its not the same as it was when I started there. Joe site here is a little slow for now. It will pick up. Joe's Mustang site is really slow, but it will pick up also. It will just take time. Over at MF there is just to many rules and more rules to cover anything and everything and they don't stay the same. Did you change that Booze? I didn't think so.

ive been goin back since OT.com was down... the site isnt too bad, but i still see some bad tech advice in the sections. i saw something about how to mount a 15" sub in the spare tire well, the dude that did it- fiberglassed it unevenly.. looked horrible compared to the pics of joe's sub install that i remember.. also, the electronics section has bad wiring advice... a bunch of people on MF also say that the v6 isnt a real stang.. but wait- the first one was an i6... they say v8 or nothing... its kind of arrogant and closed-minded, but the offtopic section wasnt too bad (story of cop and undercover tint...)

all in all, i support chris and the site seems better than when i left back in february ( the contests are kick ass. i want to win a 4.10 gear and auburn posi for the 7.5 rear end...)... but i support joe's site too. i hope moddedmustangs becomes the biggest, baddest ass site around.... hell yea :rock

v6's can lay down some good rubber...

with one wheel LOL. thats why i cant wait till i can do my gear change to a 4.10 and an auburn posi... ill do it a year or so for my senior project

how about a little report (to go with) on the gas you spend in comparison to what you spend now...

depends on how heavy my foot is. i might run through more gas simply b/c the stang will have better acceleration and i will want to- from time to time, but all-in-all i should be getting same milage appx (city) and a little worse (highway). gas prices dont bother me though. here in augusta, ga, they have dropped back down to $1.86/gal. not too bad.. although i remember about 7 years ago when gas was $.80 a gallon. those were the days :cool

here reg is 1.96, plus 2.06, premium is 2.17... i use plussy...

i remember when it used to be 1.90...................those were the days.

well i use 87 octane at 1.86 today. it has been steadily dropping a cent or 2 a week since early april. our peak was only 2.08 for 87 octane. i hope it keeps going down, but with summer here, it probably wont.. but a dollar here and there doesnt affect me much.

Actually yes I have. By the way, I'm not selling MF here, I just want to answer this. I've been given the rule book to do as I please. I am debating the off topic section being an 18 and older section as we speak. I don't want MF to be a Stang Tech site, I want it to be a Mustang Enthusiast theme park in a way. I have several things getting programmed in that will be awesome when they're done. I don't know why they take so long. One of my plans is to have a PRIVATE senior member section that is based on how long you've been there and not post count, but that's still up in the air. I'm going to have an interactive game section with time dated trivia games. MikeHawke came up with having debate teams and a debate section. So, I am making changes, but your right, it's easy to get lost in such a large site. That's why I want to make a Private Senior Member Club just to chill and chat. :boozie

Booze, honestly i think you are doing great things with site. Mainly because i won a t-shirt, haha. No really, it seems better. Not taking anyhting away from here either. The one thing that pisses me off about MF, which its always been like this i guess, is everyone knows everything. But hey, it's cool i just learn to live with it. Thanks Kevin. Also to make it clear, I want this place to grow as well as MM. I want to see my friends do well because I'm just like that. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll do anything (within reason,hehe) to help Joe and Verni. I mean come on, Tim and Greg and all these guys here are kicking arse and are really cool peeps and I love the new sites. Keep this on the down low, but when peeps come to MF looking for tech info we can't provide, I link them to MM and ask them not to mention where the lead came from, LOL. shhhhhhhhhh

Seems as if MM and MF will be going opposite directions for their target audience. MM will be tech oriented and MF will be fun oriented. Sounds like their won't be much conflict. I'm glad to see that.

And just so everyone knows, Booze isn't "necessarily" try to spam MF over here, he asked for permission to post the givaway info and of course Ver and I have no problem letting him do his thing here. Maybe one day MM & MF would have a similar mutual agreement.
