you should try doing it here matt, cots £40($80) for an hours lesson .and most people take 20 hours at least ,then the cost of bothe the written and the practical test..and its shit hard to pass...
good luck monday mate
Blimey Deb - where you been going then for them to cost that much? :eek
I have recently had to stop lessons b/c of my eye, but mine were £24 ($48).
They tell pupils that they will nead approximately the amount of lessons per their age.
I think my instructor was on a bit of a scam though, as I had loads on and off - he wasn't letting me do my manouvers often though.
When I first started, I did say I didn't want to rush, but that was taking it too far methinks.
Anyway, yes, there are so many things to have to go through.
The Theory went up last September from around $44 (£22) to around $58 (£29), plus instead of having to get at least 25 out of 30 correct, they put that up to about 43 as a pass.
Then, that lasts two years and you can go for your test whenever - for the test, they added on (3 years ago), the fact pupils have to be tested on certain things in the engine and the lights and indicators etc too.
On the actual test, they make it so hard - they can fail on something so small, for just one thing.
It's way too hard to pass now, it's ridculous and just adds loads of money to the instructors' wallets.
Congratulations on your pass Dodge - well done. :clap :clap
Perserverence always gets you through in the end.
