For some reason, the premiere college football team in the state of Alabama has an elephant for a mascot but it's nickname is "the Crimson Tide". Not really sure how that works, but people in Alabama do some goofy shit at times. :nod:

The name was given to them by an opposing coach who used that term to describe all the red jerseys coming on to the field. As far as being premiere they had a great 25 year run under one coach and spotty success ever since like most programs.
