My approval... :24: nowt wrong with considering your own shot the best though. I'm like that sometimes with my shots too if people post similar ones. I'm happy to concede others shots being better though as well of course.
Well, I did see that and no - I didn't like the first shot for the same reason although I admit I preferred the B&W version. The second shot in that thread was fine though!
I'm only talking about my shot out of all the others though. I would have voted for GW's if the flower would have been more in focus instead of it being on the eyeball. The comp was about flowers and not eyes yes. I really liked that shot a lot. I chose the rose cuz it was the best of the rest. ( hummmm... poetry.... I like that. :24: ]
I have no problem saying other shots are better than mine... if in fact I think they are especially if they are similar. I've actually voted for other peeps shots in prior contests. In this case there is no resemblance whatsoever. imho of course... but hey... what do I know...

I rarely take them now I guess, due to unhelpful breezes. I can certainly appreciate how long it takes - I've been there waiting for things to settle myself.
