Fish Tacos

I worked with what I had and fyi... Its not fish so the cheese plays well. I picked up something called "Vegan fish" assuming that the coating was vegan not the "meat". I have to say that it was tasty. I even had another without the taco... the patties were only 6 grams of fat a piece. Even without the stuff on it, it was good. Who knew... I've had stuff by Morning Star that I knew wasn't meat they they said was supposed to taste like it. this tasted like meat. Not the kind advertised but meat none the less.

That's not at all what I was thinking, Dana, but I love fish tacos.

I usually use scallops, a white fish like haddock, and shrimp....I'll marinate that mix in a bit of lime, evoo, cilantro, dash of hot like ground chili peppers and tequila...not too long, the lime cooks the fish.

Then I'll make a guacamole and dice up veg such as red onion, tomato, corn, blah blah blah and make like a salsa.

Pan sear the fish put all together on a tortilla and chow down....nom, nom, nom.

Damn I'm here 4 days and I'm dying for fish!! I miss it.

It was a mistake. I bought it at an organic store. It tasted alright but next time I'll buy regular fish.
