First Presidential Debate thread

Romney clearly won. But like minor said, he basically completely reversed his position on a lot of issues. He moved more to the center and wasn't saying the crap he did earlier in his campaign. Maybe he had a change of heart and loves no tax breaks for the rich, the middle class, and regulating business. Who knows. I've heard that now that he has the nomination, he can move more to the center instead of appeasing the far right. Whatever. Obama messed up bad, but there's still another debate to go, and an oppurtunity for Obama to get his act together and call out Romney on everything he should of. Honestly though, the whole debate was just a regurgitation of old talking points. Nothing really interesting.

Presidential Debate Number Two
Last night was the most amazing display of the bigger than life, swaggering "get out of my way", you'll get your chance" CEO. This was the most amazing part of the debate. Romney took pains to setup his boardroom style attack, looking at the President, insisting on a response, raising his eyebrows. Instead Obama sat there quietly and told him to "continue". "Well I just want to be sure it's established", Mittens muttered, then went in for the kill, immediately being skewered by the President and moderator of all people, that yes the President had called it an "Act of Terror" the day after. If you were rooting for Obama, it was INCREDIBLE. :D

So you know Ms. Crowley would catch shit from the right. Is it wrong for a moderator to tell a debater that his stated fact is flat out wrong? Maybe so, but maybe this was payback for Mittens blatantly flaunting the debate rules- addressing his opponent with questions, consistently going over his time limit, and always trying to sneak in the last word on every subject.
