you really should. He explores the parallels between the subatomic world and the philosophies of eastern mysticism and it's truly fascinating for a scientist to be talking about that. He's written several books since which I've yet to read, but will do eventually.

be prepared for more brain hurt - in the Tao of Physics there's some seriously complicated, not to mention mind-bending stuff... I don't know if I fully grasped a lot of the physics in there, especially when he was talking about experiments and time...
