Oh geez...I am SUCH a crier, too, when it comes to movies. I'll cry myself into a headache watching things like Ladder 49 and Rent. I looooooooooooove American History X, it's one of my favorites, but I've only watched it twice b/c it's SUCH a powerful movie that it mentally exhausts me to watch it.

I'm the same way! I sometimes pass on seeing a heavy movie in theaters for that reason, LOL... I went to see Pan's Labyrinth in theaters, not realizing how heavy-handed it was going to be, and was a little bit embarrassed when the lights came back on and I had tears streaming down my face... haha.

I also don't like any show with Jim Carey in it EXCEPT Liar Liar, that's the one and only exception, otherwise I will not watch a show with him in it.....he's tooo silly for me.

What about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? He was fabulous in it, it's a great movie, and he wasn't silly at all in it.

I rate Carey quite highly as an actor. Some comics like himself, and Robin Williams, are usually spot on when they do serious roles.

I made the mistake of seeing Nights in Rodanthe at the theater w/ about 7 other women. I had tears running down my neck...it was AWFUL!!! When I saw Courageous in the theater, I cried so much that my nose was stopped up and I couldn't breathe. When I was walking out I ran in to my Lieutenant and she said "I damn near drowned!" :24:
