With doctors playing games with my sons health already...

Just say that he has High blood pressure and has had it since he has been 4 yrs old he is now 9 yrs old. I have read up on this and what I've read up is nothing to be wasting time about. They already had said that his kidneys stopped growing so don't you think they should do more studies and stuff to figure out what is wrong? I don't get doctors now a days at all. I think they just in it for the money and not helping others out. That's my opinion .

Okay sorry for me venting I'm just irritated.
 
Doctors don't like to "find the root of the problem" because then they have to stop "running tests" .. Running tests = alot of revenue to the doctors office paid by the insurance company. They will run a bajillion tests until they cant run anymore, then they will figure out the problem, then get paid for "procedures".. seems like thats a standard practice now a days, but I agree, its not right nor fair.

I don't blame you a bit. You know sometimes you have to be a bitch and get in their face. I would harrass the hell out of them until they started doing something.

I don't want to scare you but my girlfriend kept complaining to her doctor about pain. They treated her like it was all in her head and sort of like get a hobby you are worrying too much. Well Mary had a high pain threshold and combined with thinking doctors were GOD (her being about 20 years older than me too) they didn't find her cancer until it was so advanced no treatment was open and she died within a few months. I drove her 300 miles to a University Hospital to see if we could get her into experiemental treatment of some things. She was too old 54 and it was too far gone they wouldn't take her.

So I learned from that if I or someone I love has pain, headaches anything and they continue I will PUSH at docs, go to specialist, etc., to get an answer.

I'm not losing anyone I love again due to being a "good girl" and believing any doc as the only diagnosis possible.
 
I had already sent the doctors a little letter telling them that I want answers. I have been down their throat for yrs and nothing they keep on saying oh continue with meds and see you back in 6 months. Hello there has to be something that is making his blood pressure high. I swear if he gets a stoke from this I swear I will be suing them for everything and also I will be putting in news papers and all.


No Kid or anybody should have to deal with this without any kind of answers.
