Kids took BrujahPriest out for dinner tonight, our eldest Amara paid (with a Giftcard). They got him a facial for tommorrow, and bought him the Game of thrones book series.

My dad and Step-Dad, I have not gotten anything yet. I will get my Step-Dad something when he comes down next month.

My Dad... I have no idea... I normally take him out for lunch/dinner when he visits in Dec.

What is everyone else doing for their Duddies?

My kiddo and I will probably color a card for our daddies together. Other than that, we'll probably just be at my grandma's house trying to make it the best for my dad and aunt and grandma since this is the first father's day since my grandfather passed away and it will probably be difficult for them.

My dad's not big into big deals either. And whenever I get him a gift, it seems to fall flat..lol. So maybe a homemade card will do okay. :p

Thank You! There's really no words for it! When your own Father doesn't even know you! That's the reason I came to Florida. To look after him. I cry alot. :p

:( My mother works with Alzheimer patient's, it is very difficult. Takes a big heart to care for them, here's to hoping for good days for you and your father.

I know how you feel. Sunday will be very hard for me. As well as his birthday next month.
I feel bad being a father myself. But I really just want to be left alone on sunday. It isn't going to be a good day.

Sorry I will stay out of the thread now. Don't want to change the mood.

I'm giving my dad what I meant to give him for Christmas and then his birthday, but forgot. :24: Other than that, he wants me to go to church with them, so I'll do that... then lunch at their house, and a baseball game in the afternoon.

I am going to buy him a 30 pack of Bud Light. That will last him about two weeks, and a gift card for Home Depot. We are having a potluck after that at their house with the whole family.
