Father of Marine Killed in Iraq Sues Church for Cheering Death, Appeals to Public

I don't think we shouldn't be allowed to say extremely offensive and shocking things, not that I would exercise that right, but I think people need to be able to exert their free will. But what I do think should be limited is WHERE we are allowed to say offensive and shocking things. You know the old saying - There is a time and place for everything.

I feel really bad that the family had to endure that during such a very personal event, their son's funeral ... during a time of loss ... it is just so wrong.

I agree, but it could quickly turn into a slippery slope of politicians get in on it. Look at some of the protests against the war a few years ago. People were CAGED in in some cities.

I feel bad for the family for having to put up with these wackjobs.

The first Ammendment should be ammended to read Freedom of Speech, but not everywhere or something. This is the single most wrongly interpreted and misused Ammendment. Needs to be fixed, IMO.

I actually disagree with that, because that means that it could be used to squash anything the people in charge do not like. Saying shocking statements should be allowed. Look at what are founding fathers were saying. As long as it's not a threat against anyone, I think everything else should be allowed.

These people are sub-humans, I think we can all agree on that. Although no matter how bad we hate them, they aren't threatening anyone. I hate to say that too, since I completely can't stand these people.
I think that's why matters like this are left up to juries, they don't have any sort of political agenda.

Our service members deserve to be laid to rest in peace, and their families shouldn't have to put up with this abuse.
