its a gt. that picture is from when i just bought the car. the guy before me had a cobra in the grille. it doesnt have anything in there anymore. it was gay.
the block on the 4.6 itself will handle over 1000 hp, its the stock rods and pistons that are weak. even the cast crank is pretty stout. the rods and pistons in these motor stock are what dont like handling over 400 hp.
my car has a DSS racing billit shortblock stroker. the heads are from VT but will be taking off this summer when we do the blower to have them hand ported. will porlly piclk up close to 40 rwho from that alone. the cams are comp 270, and they sound great.
mine is a low compression motor, its right at 8.5:1 if i was gonna do it again, i would have put it around 9.5:1 and then boosted the hell out of it. if your going all motor, go with around a 10.5:1 will make more power. also dont buy cnc ported heads, have your heads handported. its a lot more expensive but it makes a helluva lot more power than a cnc port
