Not to criticize on my first post, but low 10s won't be easy to do. High 10s possible but not consistently. I think i can beat that. I have a 2500lb Acura with close to 600whp. The mustang weighs 1000 lbs more though so i would have a big advantage. Nice times you have though. I haven't been to the track yet with this new set-up..

If you read my post you saw that I said I'd never be able to do it in my car, but there are plenty of better drivers that run low 10s with this setup, just go over to modularfords.com if you doubt. You should be able to beat me being the same hp with 1000lbs less weight or you've got yourself a Supra dyno queen there. You know the joke that says whats the difference between a 500, 700, 1000hp Supra? Nothing, they all run 11s in the 1/4. :)

Like someone mentioned, I'm guessing your Acura would be laying down a considerable, I mean considerable amount less torque. Which means, I should get the jump, then never look back. But it would be fun to run and see. I am always game, even if a L is at the end of it.

As for Specialized, bring on the Saleen man! I haven't seen anything come out of there that will touch what I will have. Now, if you said KB or something, different story with the 3-valve.

I may throw a 100 shot on top of this if it gets too slow. I still like the street-ability of a 600+hp on demand without the gas. :)

600whp Acura huh? Ummm yeah. Not that I reckon you will ever post again to back that claim up, but you know you have to give us some specs on what all you have done to your car to get that kind of power. And here's a little news flash for you, about the only advantage you would have over Venom is if you raced from a 40+ roll. But, we all know that roll racing is GAY! I doubt you would have any advantage at all from a dig because a car that light with that much (supposed) hp wouldn't do anything but spin all through first, second, and probably third too. Venom's high HP/high TQ RWD car will have a much easier time hooking up and he would be long gone before you even thought about getting traction. Nice try though.

That really depends whitey, every car with that kind of power is going to spin, sure. But they make slicks and tight suspensions for FWD cars too. I've seen 600 whp Civics burn through first and then hammer all the way through the gears without much more than a chirp on shifting.

That is very true Jimbo, but I highly doubt this kid even has 600whp in his Acura, much less running slicks and drag suspension. I'm not really doubting the capabilities of such a car, just the existence of said car.

Well said. I doubt he'd be able to produce said car, but hey I never said I was the fastest, I was asking what everyone had. So if he does, thats great. I know he would have dumped a lot of money to produce that power on said car though, big turbos, thats for sure.

I doubt he'd get me from a 40 roll too though, thats my sweet spot for 2nd gear punches. I guess we could roll from 160, but that would be gay, lol :)

Nice. How do you like the cam setup? Do you ever plan to spray this beast?

The cam is great for my application, which is 90% daily driver, 10% hellion. :) No surging or stalling issues, but a nice boost in power across the band. The new valvetrain is a bit noisy for my taste, but everything is give and take.

No spray. I'm thinking blower @ 8lbs next winter. :D Should put me about 500rwhp.

It sounds like you've got a pretty bad ass ride up there. Props on good choices.

Thanks man. That would put you at a very nice spot indeed! What blower would you go with? There's a guy on one of the local forums running a Camaro, similar setup as yours but a dual stage spray setup. That thing is nasty. He has ran a best of 10.1 in the 1/4 with it. Its pretty stout on just motor too. Anyway, glad you posted up.
