Just curious who has what on here...I know there are a few that came over awhile back from Mustangforums. So post up what you drive and what you have done to it!

I'll go first.

I have a black 2003 Mustang Cobra. It is now being rebuilt and will have:
bored .020 over
CP Pistons
2.3 Whipple
60# fuel injectors
BAP
Accufab TB
3.5/6lb pulley setup (should net about 17-19 lbs of boost)
Bassani Mid-Lengths
Bassani X-Pipe with Cats
SLP LM II catback
LFP Heat exchanger
Fidanza flywheel/ Fidanza DFX clutch - 26 spline

Hey man, nice to see you again. No, I quit going over there as I was actually starting to get ahead of the tech advice over there. I moved onto modularfords.com for all the good stuff.

I will post some pics as soon as she gets back. Its been about 6 weeks and I can't wait until this project is finished!

What kind of numbers does your cobra make? hp/tq/track times

Before I toasted the pistons, I ran a 11.7@118 1/4. But that was only 3 track runs with that setup. At that time I was sitting at 511hp/521tq. After the build I expect to be around 600-650hp with who knows what kind of tq, I'm sure 560+. With some practice at those levels I should be high 10s. A good driver would hit low 10s.

Not to criticize on my first post, but low 10s won't be easy to do. High 10s possible but not consistently. I think i can beat that. I have a 2500lb Acura with close to 600whp. The mustang weighs 1000 lbs more though so i would have a big advantage. Nice times you have though. I haven't been to the track yet with this new set-up..

Funny I should run into this thread. I'm actually about to purchase a car that might give a few people, even you, a run for the money.

I'm stuck between choosing a Saleen Mustang S281 and a 1994 Lotus Esprit.

The Saleen would be brand new from a dealership and I'll have to deal with all that. The Lotus is my father's friend's car. It only has 72,000 miles on it too, while the Saleen has only 9. The difference in price is the Lotus would run me roughly $8,000 more. It's a sweet deal too, the Lotus anyway.

Both cars would be fun I think. I don't care which is faster or better in specifications but only how much I like the ride and car. If anyone here has ever driven a Saleen or the Lotus for an extended time, please share your impressions. Thanks. :)

I like Lotus better, but then again I don't like Ford or even Mustangs that much. The problem with a Lotus is if something happens it's going to be a bitch to get parts or find someone to fix it. My pops wanted a Lotus till he found that little fact, so he bought a Vette.

yall are all slow lol. Lotus's aren't that fast, nice cars but not that quick. I just ran 11.18@123 3 weeks ago at the track with only 417rwhp, but had 585rwtq. Got to love nitrous.
